PM GATE, a standard for managing a megaproject implementation program, was presented at the TNF forum in Tyumen

PM GATE is intended for large-scale projects in the oil and gas sector, in industrial construction, in the field of construction of transport and energy infrastructure.

The standard is based on a gate model and focuses on managing the benefits from concept to operation of megaproject results.

"The target audience of PM GATE is large companies that are implementing megaproject programs. First and foremost, the standard provides a clear, transparent way to manage program benefits. It will be useful to shareholders and top officials of companies, as well as investment departments, for whom it is important to determine and achieve the benefits of the implemented program, and not only financial ones. The standard can also be used by the program management team. PM GATE describes a clear sequence of steps when managing programs," comments Alexander Kutuzov, PME.

The standard was created based on the best Russian and foreign practices, as well as the extensive experience of PM Excellence experts in managing large-scale projects and megaprojects. PM GATE is the second standard developed by PM Excellence. The standard was released in 2022 PM GUIDE to manage a separate project.
