PM Excellence took part in the 6th annual international investment forum "Eastern Oil and Gas Forum" in Vladivostok

The forum is traditionally a professional international platform for dialogue and exchange of experience between government officials and business representatives in the oil and gas industry in the region.

The event took place in Vladivostok on July 6-7, 2022, on the territory of the Far Eastern Federal University. According to the organizers, more than 200 participants attended the forum.

From PM Excellence, the speakers of the business program were the company's invited expert on megaproject management, Alexander Kutuzov, PME and Vladimir Baranov, PMP, PME, MCTS, Director of PM Excellence practice.

In his speech Alexander Kutuzov spoke about the key factor necessary for success in managing megaprojects - the timely involvement of an effective project team.
The speaker outlined the most common problems in projects - based on the practical experience of practice managers at PM Excellence over the past 20 years. However, Alexander Kutuzov believes that the root cause of most problems on projects is the belated attraction of a sufficiently qualified and effective team to manage the project.

If the completion date of a large-scale project is on the horizon of 1-3 years, it makes sense to involve a ready-made, effective project management team: for example, PM Excellence as a PMC contractor.
