The speaker of the business program on behalf of PM Excellence was the company's invited expert on megaproject management, Alexander Kutuzov, PME. Representatives of PM Excellence also held a number of business meetings and outlined ways of promising interaction with potential partners.
Tyumen Industrial and Energy Forum TNF-2022 is a business event that annually brings together representatives of leading companies in the oil sector of the Russian economy. This year, top managers of major companies such as Sibur, Gazpromneft, Transneft, Lukoil, Spetsneftegaz met to discuss the industry action plan in modern realities.
In particular, an invited expert on megaproject management from PM Excellence Alexander Kutuzov took part in the round table at the Technology Session "Development of Intelligent Design Systems" and delivered a presentation "Tools for managing deadlines and priorities in a project."
In his speech, Alexander Kutuzov noted the importance of timely formation of an effective project management team as a key factor necessary for success in managing megaprojects.
The speaker outlined the most common problems in projects - as he sees them based on the practical experience of practice managers at PM Excellence over the past 20 years. The root cause of most problems on projects, according to Alexander Kutuzov, remains the belated attraction of a sufficiently qualified and effective team to manage the project.
As a practical case, a large-scale project for the preparation of design documentation for the construction of a large foreign nuclear power plant was presented, where at the design stage, with the help of the PM Excellence team and proven tools in the field of project management, the planned implementation time was reduced.
