TsORP is a powerful tool for integrating a large-scale project
In 2017, the team of PMC Contractor PM Excellence (pmexcellence.com), on a large-scale project for the development of the second stage of the Taas-Yuryakh oil and gas condensate field, developed and implemented an effective integration tool - the Center for Operational Response and Forecasting. A toolkit for promoting critical paths and prioritizing risks (RPPR, a register of priority problems and risks) was also developed.
In 2019, the tools received significant development in megaproject Rospan-GAZ.
In both cases, time reduction was achieved and, in a short period of time, the integration and interaction of key participants in the project was increased.
The main idea of the tools is to focus on truly priority tasks and risks at a high level of decision-making. The tools are simple but extremely effective!
TsORP, promotion of critical paths, RPPR together with Big Picture (which I wrote about earlier) have become mandatory in all our large and megaprojects not only in oil and gas, but also in the nuclear industry, mining and processing complex construction projects, refinery modernization, and port infrastructure reconstruction.
