The Periscope project management automation system is now available in port projects

PM Excellence sold 10 licenses at once Periscope. The buyer was the National Transport Company, the subject of the transaction was the PMC/PNR module.

The module will be used for NTK's subsidiary, the Murmansk Commercial Sea Port (MMTP), the largest transport enterprise in Murmansk, where projects for the reconstruction of port coal transshipment facilities are underway. This is one of the main cargoes passing through the Murmansk port, which is why modernizing the systems is very important.

The construction and installation/commissioning work management tool will allow you to automate the process of detailed monthly planning, obtaining analytics and reporting on construction, installation and commissioning works. The use of digital solutions in project management will ensure transparency of processes, simplify work with large volumes of information and eliminate planning errors.

"This is the case when a project is average according to the world classification, but nevertheless requires high-quality planning and monitoring. The financial damage caused by the berth being idle in the port is very significant and you have to "fight" for it every day. In this case, during the active phase of construction, the construction and installation/commissioning management module from Periscope will help plan work taking into account the project's priorities and the contractor's capabilities," commented the director of the PM Excellence practice Vladimir Baranov, PME, PMP, MCTS.
