A risk session for Gazprom Invest LLC on the Eastern Gas Supply System megaproject was organized and conducted with the help of PM Excellence specialists

This time, the mega-project "Eastern Gas Supply System" (design and construction of gas pipelines from the Yamal Peninsula towards the Far East (more than 7,000 km)) was examined in detail.

The risk session was organized and conducted by the joint team of PM Excellence and Gazprom-TsPS. More than 30 employees of PJSC Gazprom took part in the event, LLC "Gazprom invest" and Gazprom-TsPS, members of the megaproject management team.

Representatives of PM Excellence Alexander Kutuzov, PME (invited expert on megaproject management" and Alexanderr Kochetov, PME, PMP (Deputy General Director) proposed the session program, moderated it, and also made reports on the rich practical experience of PM Excellence in managing megaprojects.

During the risk session the following tasks were solved:

• - The current status of the megaproject and its immediate and strategic prospects were discussed in detail
• - Key risks of the megaproject were identified, assessed and ranked
• - Measures have been developed to manage the identified risks, and the deadlines for their implementation have been outlined (indicating those responsible)

In the future, the WASH project management office will continue to work on risk management, which should increase the likelihood of successful implementation of this project.
