PM Excellence took part in the business program and exposition of the mining forum and exhibition MINEX Russia 2024

The main slogan of the 20th anniversary MINEX forum is "People. Technologies. Subsoil."
In the business program of the forum, Vice President PM Excellence Alexander Kutuzov, PME, presented the study PM Benchmark 1.0 by PM Excellence, which outlines 17 key parameters for effectively managing large-scale projects and megaprojects.
He also drew attention to frequent delays in large-scale projects and megaprojects. With the involvement PMC contractor PM Excellence and its technologies it is possible to significantly reduce the backlog.
On the second day of the MINEX RUSSIA 2024 forum, practice directors PM Excellence Roman Cheremisin, PME and Pavel Lavrentiev, PME spoke at the session "Project Management, Risks and Investment Attractiveness in the Mining Industry" with a report "Does management want to know the real deadlines for the project? An independent check-up of the project will give the answer."
Using the example of a specific project (practical case) - the construction of a mining and processing complex, the speakers reviewed the key tools for assessing the actual timing of the project:
- Analysis of the schedule network model to prioritize project work;
- quantitative risk analysis;
- analysis of construction and installation work based on production and amount of resources.
