PM Excellence took part in the business program of the Energy Leader conference in Sochi on June 8-10, 2022

Alexander Kutuzov, together with the customer's representative - Deputy General Director for Development of Project Activities of Gazprom TsPS Alexey Stepanov, delivered a presentation on managing priorities in large-scale projects and megaprojects.

He spoke about important aspects in project management, existing priority management tools and key principles for managing project deadlines. For its customers, PM Excellence offers effective tools, such as promotion of critical paths, prioritization of tasks based on reserves, timely risk management, as well as the use of the Center for Operational Forecasting and Response (RTRC), whose activities allow timely development of solutions aimed at controlling and reducing the implementation time of large-scale projects and megaprojects.

Thus, the use of the central processing unit on the project "Development of the central oil block and the Kurgun license area of the Srednebotuobinskoye oil and gas condensate field" of the Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha company made it possible to reduce the project duration by more than 150 days. The timing of a major project for the construction of a foreign nuclear power plant at the design stage was also reduced. The above cases were presented to the conference audience.

Alexey Stepanov, Deputy General Director for Development of Project Activities at Gazprom TsPS, supplemented his presentation with a report on systematic work to manage the risks faced in large-scale projects and megaprojects, spoke about the importance of schedule network planning and the results that this service provides.
