PM Excellence presents the results of the new PM Benchmark 3.0 study
PM Excellence continued its benchmark study of best practices for managing large-scale projects and megaprojects. The study involved internal and external PM Excellence experts who participated in the implementation of significant projects and megaprojects in Russia.
The study collected expert assessments on 31 benchmarks (+4 compared to second version). All estimates were given for projects with annual development of 1-10, 10-100, 100+ billion, the basis of which is capital construction.
During the survey, the experts were tasked with indicating the minimum and maximum values for each benchmark. Expert assessments reflect the desired, ideal results for effective project management. During the survey, experts answered the question "how should it be?", and not the question "how is it now?"
It is planned that updates will be released once a year. The number of benchmarks will increase/change and the circle of experts will expand.
The research results are presented in the form of a brochure according to the principle: one page - one benchmark. Expert assessments are visualized using a diagram:
