PM Excellence helps the Orsk Refinery implement the Production Facilities Modernization Program

PJSC "Orsknefteorgsintez" - the largest oil refinery in the Orenburg region - is introducing elements of a management system for large-scale projects as part of the implementation of the Program for the Modernization of Production Facilities. This will improve the efficiency of managing timelines, costs and reduce the risks associated with the implementation of modernization projects.
The implementation of elements of a large-scale project management system is carried out by PM Excellence, one of the leaders in the Russian project management market. As part of the provision of project management services at facilities PJSC "Orsknefteorgsintez" PM Excellence carries out work on planning, monitoring and reporting of the projects "Delayed Coking Complex", "BiD Hydrotreating Unit", "Operational Chemical Facilities":
- Development and maintenance of schedule network models;
- Generation of analytical and reporting information;
- Independent assessment of the implementation forecast.
Currently, thanks to the joint work of the team from PM Excellence and the Orsk Refinery, the following results have already been achieved:
- The quality of decision-making has increased by obtaining prompt and visual information about the real state of affairs in projects;
- A working planning, monitoring and reporting system has been introduced;
- Control over contractors has improved due to the formation of daily-monthly schedules and optimal distribution of labor resources;
- Project management processes have been standardized;
- Qualified control over the progress of project implementation has been introduced using modern management tools.
To automate project management work, PM Excellence collaborates with a digital technology partner center Periscope.
