EVRAZ and PMC contractor PM Excellence are collaborating on a project to reconstruct the Tashtagol mine

For this project, PM Excellence provides services for schedule network planning and implements the following types of project management work:

• - creation and updating of the schedule network model of the project
• - formation and analysis of the critical path
• - generation of reporting for timely and informed decision-making

PM Excellence also provides expert support to specialists of the management company, EVRAZ LLC, on the specifics of managing key large-scale projects.

Reporting on a portfolio of large-scale projects, which was automated during the work, provides EVRAZ management with correct and accurate information about meeting deadlines and mastering project stages for making informed management decisions.

The work of PM Excellence has already created the basis for the possibility of reducing the implementation time of large-scale projects of the group.

"Together with PM Excellence on the Tashtagol project, we managed to build business processes for monitoring and managing contractors based on a tool for uploading and downloading monthly-daily schedules and task plans. It was especially important for us to build these processes, since there are about 10-11 contractors working on the project. This allowed us to more realistically assess the pace of work, timely manage the mobilization of teams and promptly respond to problems and issues arising on both sides," comments Albina Mubarakova, head of the Analytics department of the EVRAZ Project Management Directorate.

The cooperation between PM Excellence and EVRAZ began more than 2 years ago. PM Excellence is the developer of a methodology for planning the implementation of large-scale projects at EVRAZ. During the joint work, project management process automation systems were launched and successfully implemented (based on Oracle Primavera, using modules Periscope - provider of integration solutions for IT systems for managing large-scale projects).
